Our last trip to SC in June 2007, Jack had implemented a no pet policy do to a few folks not cleaning up after their pets and/or controlling them. Does anyone know if this policy is still in effect?

John,
It was still in effect as of end of August when we were there for service.

Linda and Linda,
Thanks, I was afraid that was going to be the answer. As with many things in our society, the actions of a few inconsiderate folks cause the majority to pay the price.

John,
As September 28, the signs were still on the door however, there is a house right behind the Service Center where we tied up our dog. The owner did not mind and there was good shade there.

Is there a campground at the Factory in Smith Center? We want to Stop there in the Spring for the Tour for a couple days. We will have a dog with us too. We intend to buy another Excel in a few years and want to watch them being built for a couple days.

I believe the Service Center hook-ups are limited to customers of the Service Center -- they may make exceptions based on workload. The factory is across the street and may have a couple of hook-ups--not sure. There is a campground on the west end of SC.

Daryl,
There is a campground just about a mile west of PI on the southside of the US 36. Self service and usually lots of room.
