Well, everyone can quit damaging their trailer, now. First, someone gets metal through the front cover. Then, if I read the thread correctly, a rock attacked a slide. So...a U-Haul got a little too close to our Excel in the storage lot this week as they weren't paying attention as they cut through the space beside where ours sits. So we pay the price for their short cut.

It looks like a 3 inch wide by 4 inch high piece of the top fiberglass was scrapped off the front edge, street side of the front cap about 6 and half feet off the ground. Appears one of the bigger U-Hauls probably clipped it with a mirror as they cut the corner too close.

Get back in town late tomorrow evening and if there's still enough light, I'll get pictures for Jack and post here.

Always something...

So sorry about your misfortune, but at least everyone has all their fingers and toes and no one is in the hospital...

Thanks, B2 - things could be a lot worse!

Anyway, I finally got the cell phone to send me one of the pictures. Here's what we've got.

Dawg gone it...Dave......I just hate it. On my old unit on the way home from the dealer I backed it in the gutter at the house. Just dented the ladder a little bit. On a positive note......I didn't have to worry about that "first dent" any longer. rockin'

Dave, sorry to here about the damage to your trailer. Hope you and Donna are well otherwise. We are doing well at OBX. Hope you get all repaired at SC. Take care.

God bless.

That's our service center! Sorry to hear, the rock in the side of the Excel also heard about that, and have seen the damage. As I tell my wife, greatest danger on the road, is "others", bad drivers, or "I can do this" drivers. Not afraid about what she will do, afraid for what others, can and will do. Again, Sorry to hear.
