This morning, we sold our Lance truck camper and promptly made the trip across town to Moriarty (NM) to visit Kathy at RV Sales and ORDERED OUR 2011 33RSE LIMITED!!!!! Whoo hoo, we are SO excited! We anticipate taking delivery sometime in early-to-mid July. We learned that many of the *options* for 2010 are now *standard* for the 2011 model year, like hickory interior, padded ceiling, thermopane windows, generator box, whole-house water filter, and sliding LP trays. Options we ordered include:

Side desk with drop table
10 cu ft refrigerator
A/C with heat pump
Pivot-EZ sewer hose compartment
Reel-EZ water hose compartment
Disk Brakes w/ 17.5 *J* tires
Class III receiver hitch
Independent hydraulic leveling system
Glide Ride pin box
Electric *WeatherPro* awning

Glenn and Jan.........Congrats on the new ordered rig. Did our little talk at RV Sales a few months ago have a bearing on your decision? If so, I'm hitting them up for a "bird dog" spiff!!!

I know you'll love your rig. That RSE is a fabulous floorplan. Sounds like you getting some good options too. rockin'

Tom,

I have to admit; we looked at numerous other manufacturers, brands, models, etc. But kept coming back to the Excel. And YES, our visit with you and Donna was very instrumental in our decision to go back to Excel and RV Sales!!!!! Thank you so much for your hospitality that afternoon!

We hope to make it to the NM Rally in Creede, CO this September. Will you guys be there by chance?

Bryan,

You might want to put this rockintom fellow on some sort of retainer just to keep him unavailable to the competition.

Hey Jim,

I only take abuse......compliments are tuff to take! You are too kind.

What's the deal with the "retainer"??? I think I had one of those when I was a teenager and had braces!!! Time for me to go to bed before it wears off!

Congratulations on joining the Excel family. We hope to be able to visit with you in May at the open house in Moriarty. You'll be able to visit with some, as "Still" called it, "us good folks". IMHO, you made a great choice and will have many days of great traveling enjoyment with your Excel. We sure enjoy ours.

Congrats on your new Excel. We are new owners too and let me tell you, the people here are an amazing group that will help you along the way. They know what they are talking about or how to get the answers if they don't and are so willing to share. Will be looking forward to hearing about your adventures.

I haven't posted in a while; been patiently waiting for our new coach to arrive. Last Saturday (12 Jun), we headed over to RV Sales to have Ralph install the 5th wheel hitch in our truck. Not long after we arrived, OUR NEW COACH PULLED IN! It's beautiful! We weren't able to take it that day, because Ralph still has to run it through the checkout process. Since we were too busy at work this week to take any time off, we scheduled delivery for next Wednesday, the 23rd. In the meantime, Ralph will install the Travl'r Direct TV Slimline HD satellite dish, and a hard-wired Surge Guard. We'll be staying at the RV Sales "campground" through Friday, then head out Saturday morning to the Phoenix area to have the solar system installed on Monday. I'm gonna get a lot of practice in a really short time driving our new rig! We are trying to keep busy over the next few days so the time will go by faster.
