I finally got around to talking with Bob at RV Sales. He says they use 1/8" paneling stips as shims and just drive them in between the floor and cross braces in the area of the squeak. The lag bolts holding the floor to the cross braces can also be tightened. Bob says he uses an old chisel with the end ground off square to install the shims. If the squeak sounds like it is coming from the area of the heater ducts, remove the grill and put some of the same 1/8" paneling between the ductwork and the floor.
It took me about 20 minutes to fix my squeak in the kitchen area, If I can do it, it can't be too tough.

Thanks for the update, Tommy! I would be using a lot of paneling on our rig as it has squeaks though out the rig.....I'll probably will just let 'er squeak. Thank goodness for my medication!

Oakpoop....you big dummy. You know that's a "high grade of embalming fluid"

PS The Walmart I visited this PM had no adult beverages of any kind. State law? Good thing I maintain a nice stock to help me thru these "hard times".
