hoosier32 here, hey folks we traded for the 36tke. i am going to have a few questions. never had the hydrolic system before. do i need to use the stabilizer bars on the slides when moving? always did on the elec. any other points a new excel owner should be aware of would be appreciated. we have had 4 sob the last 15 years. i hope this is the last for many years. thanks for your help.

Most of the trailers today have gotten away from the slideout bars to secure rooms in while traveling. With the system that you have you will not need to add any supports as well. I believe Excel got away from the supports around the 95/96 time frame. (I think that is what you were referring to.) Hope that helps with your question.
Also hope you enjoy your New Excel, as that is a excellent floorplan.

Welcome H32. Don't think you will be sorry. We all still have normal concerns but over the long haul, you'll be happy that you made this decision.
