Replaced my blade seal for the second time today and snapped a few photos. This seal lasted for almost 3.5 years....pretty darn good. It's real easy, so if anyone needs help with seeing how's it's done just email me with my address on my profile! No, Mama, I ain't doing no write up. The last one took me longer than to do the job itself!!!

Thanks B2,

I have the ball type system, and they call it the blade system too. I believe the seal itself is the weakest link on the toilet. Like I said, I am really excited to get 3.5 years out of the seal. I've babied this thing...big time! RockinPottyTime

One-IS the "blade" seal the one that keeps the water in the bowl?

Two-If so, will you email me the pics? Miss Jo has been complaining for weeks that ours won't hold water. I just pull up the pedal with my toe and it works fine but she says..."Fix it!"

Shoot. I'm on my third one in the first 1.5 years of use.

And don't get me started about the "fluids" shooting back up at flush time. Latest ball valve has reduced, but not eliminated this phenomenon. Now I think it is backpressure from banks that want more bailout money.

Flush time makes me long for stixandbrix. But I get over it.

Bruce,

As we've discussed before, if you have bulching back on a flush...that ain't right....only if your vent is plugged from being too full...then it's normal. After draining black tank than it should stop. If not, check your black vent maybe plugged. You can use a water hose on the vent from the roof. Sometime bug nests plug the vents and other times TP may block the vent at the black tank. Good reason not to let it get that full, before dumping. HTH RockinPottyTime

Bruce,

Ain't my fault you're too darn cheap to stay at a decent RV park! We didn't retire early to live like peasants...however...given the current economic conditions....we may be Walmart greeters soon ...but no blue totes for us!

P.S. We have good references...we've stayed in Walmart parking lots many times!

I would question who in their right mind would give you a good reference.

"You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time"

This is the only reference I've heard on you SKIA aka "RockinPottyTime".
