I really hate to do this, but since it is Christmas and maybe Tom is not looking here it is.

I give Tom a hard time but the old guy and Donna are great people.
All tho I only met with him and Donna one time we had a great visit and look forward to seeing them again.
He is not the big drinking blow hard that he tries to be on the forum. Sorry to let the cat out of the bag Tom.

I know this is not Excel related but had to say it.

Jim

Jim,
I couldn't resist chiming in on this topic, as it is "Excel Related". It concerns one of our family members and we are an extremely close-knit group.

'Rockin' has earned the title of Excel and I hope he is so recognized at our 2009 Excel Reunion. I truly believe the poor man needs some professional help.

All I can say is God bless his lovely wife Donna as she's got him 24/7.
Merry Christmas to all

Here's my $.02 worth. Rock"y"Tom is my favorite guy to pick on from whom to take abuse. What great fun we have passing the time, laughing and teasing each other. I am sure glad he is on the forum....he makes it human.
May God Bless all of you during this holiday season. I wish EVERYONE Health, Happiness and Joy, especially Donna. Merry CHRISTmas to all.
No blushing Tom, you know you love the attention.

My wife and I recently had the privilege of meeting Tom and Donna. They are truly very nice people. It was great to sit and chat with them and we found it amazing the number of things we have in common. We are looking forward to seeing them again in a month or so in the Rio Grande Valley. (Remember, Tom, you can run but you can't hide.) Maybe we need to send Tom on tour to meet all the Forum membership. I am sure he would love that. Merry Christmas to all of you.

You guys are definitely making me blush. Sounds like I got most of ya'll (I'm in TX...I can say that!) fooled! Red, I'm sorry you don't see me as the "big drinking blow hard" that I am. I'll try harder!! I promise.

Naw...really we have such a good (and lots of fun) time in life! We are Blessed to be able to do what we do, and the freedom to boot. MANY folks would love to be able to do what we do. It is great fun to cut up and be silly (and childlike) on this forum. Chief is pretty easy on us, as I imagine we get on the "edge" sometimes!

Seriously, thanks for kind comments in this thread. All of you we've had the pleasure to meet along the way, have been great and alot of fun. And we're looking forward to meeting the rest of you soon. Even you Virg. Ms. Jo has to be a saint. I hope you let me drive "Overkill" so I can blow the carbon out him! Ha.

May all have a Merry Christmas! Be safe and enjoy your loved ones and family. God Bless each and everyone of you.

Da** that wines looking mighty good right 'bout now. Git-R-Done!

Tom,
You add some much needed levity to our family forum AND have passed on many outstanding ideas and Best Practices. IMO, you're of the cogs that have made this forum as successful as we are during our first year.

Chief,

You are so kind. Thanks....I'm not used to compliments...don't know how to act. Thanks again.

Chief, you've done a super job of "watching over the sheep" and keeping us on track!
We appreciate that for sure. We talk up this forum every chance we get. What a great way to share and exchange ideas on our rigs. And have fun to boot. Tom

What I appreciate about Rockintom:

He has given me the "know how" for:
---daily getting under the Excel
---understanding the importance of picture taking
---the importance and courteosy to respond ASAP to forum members

---Teaching me what MD20/20 really is
---How to be a traveling Diplomat to SC
---How to handle Smokin'Tom
---to give me the pleasure to know a GURU right here in the good ole USA
AND
---How to "out-fox" Chief

All in All, Tom, your person has given me an opportunity to sincerely wish everyone a safe and Warm Holiday Season as I am living my first year as an EXCEL FTimer. I look forward to meeting the forum members.

With Kind Holiday Regards,to All Maverik/Gypsy

Mav/Gyp,

My lovely bride says my head won't fit though the door anymore. Now, she said, I've become hard to live with??? What's up with that?? I had no idea I was doing all these things to all you wonderful folks! I do admit I enjoy all the attention!
As you may imagine, in school, I was the kid who made little noises and comments in the back of the class. IE stirring up trouble. Doesn't sound like I've changed that much since then.

Virg,
No way! When we get to our winter destination (after our vacation cruise), you will probably won't hear from me that much. I really get into the activities in the park. We do alot of them, including a happy hour from time to time .

Oh no, Donna and I were talking about this thread this AM and she is going into the site as a guest (on her laptop) to see if all this BS I'm telling her is true. Beware! I may be caught on some of my stories. I'm such a bad boy!

I noticed on the Yahoo.com this morning that the Dictionary.com "Word of the Day" is persiflage -- they must have been reading this topic?

Merry Christmas
