Take a look at Flagg Ranch - Now called Headwaters. Located a couple miles from the south entrance. Easy access to Tetons too. Full hookups in the trees.

Grizzly is very nice, but spendy. We'd stay there again for sure. We stayed for a week.

We're going on our first trip to Yellowstone this June and staying at Yellowstone Holliday rv park.I researched it and it looks like a winner.

Both Yellowstone Grizzly and Yellowstone Holiday are great places to stay. Holiday is on Hegben lake and more like a campground. Grizzly is closer to town and the Park entrance and definitely more of an RV Park feel. Weíve stayed at both and would do so again. Both fill up very quickly.

Make your reservation as soon as possible. Flagg ranch and most if not all campgrounds with hookups in Yellowstone and the Tetons are booked for the season. I tried 3 weeks ago.

You might still find something in the town of West Yellowstone. Its right at the west gate. Did not stay there, we stayed inside the park at Madison campground with our 32 ft 5th with no hookups.

The only RV Park inside the park with hook ups is Fishing Bridge. https://www.nps.gov/yell/planyourvis...ngbridgecg.htm It is on south end of Hayden Valley known as the Serengeti of North America and basically at the headwaters of the Yellowstone River and a short drive to Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.
You really want to try stay inside the park due its large size with most attractions on the interior or opposite end your staying at that you will be doing a lot of driving just in and out other wise and book now as usually fills quick. There is some first come ran by the park service but no hook ups. My fav is Norris Camp Ground loop A sites 12, 10 or 14 and a RSO 30 fits in 12 with room for truck and camper side by side.
When there be sure and check out the Fire Hole Canyon Drive just south of Madison Junction with heated swimming hole as well as the Boiling River soak/swim hole North of Mamoth Hot Springs heated by thermal features. Also Lamar Valley the 2nd Serengeti of North America due to the diverse wildlife that calls them home and the drama of life that plays out every day. We have been going every year since 2006 so if you want some ideas or how to get a first come site at Norris DM me anytime.

Weíve been there after Labor Day, extremely cold at night, beautiful during the day, traffic inside the park is much better than August, but some things close after September 1.
