Well my wife, son and I went to the show yesterday to see the latest/greatest. Settles, which sells the Excel line, was there and to my surprise they had a wild cargo. All I can say is "great job". That was one nice unit. Like usual, overall fit and finish was top notch but what set it apart from the other toyhaulers I saw there was the layout. I love the eurochair, center kitchen and fully enclosed bath. Others might have had some of these designs but not all in one unit. Very nice. Bubby, the owner of Settles, told me that he pulled it with a 1ton and had no problems but knew it was back there. Yeah I guess so. I'm all for safety and now having a family that's even more so. To pull this unit safely a MDT I guess would be the best bet. Well....Bryan you did a great job. I love everything about it. One suggestion. Probably hard to do with the kitchen laid out the way it is but I saw quite a few units with the hallway leading back to bedroom on the opposite street side. This design seemed to open up the bedroom and hallway some more. Also with a slide in the hallway (NUWA) that really opened up an otherwise tight area. Just an idea. Aaron

Thank you for the compliment and also for the suggestion. I wonder why I didn't see you at the VA show???? I was there all day Friday and Saturday. Hmmmm... I would have loved meeting you.

Darn it, Bryan, I sure would have loved to have met and chatted with you. We were volunteering at the Good Sam of VA booth just right down from Settle's exhibit, but weren't there until Sunday. Bubby told me that you were there on Friday and Saturday. Oh well, maybe another time!

Are you kidding me. You were there at that show Bryan. When I talked to Bubby, I never once thought that you might have been there. I figured that show was a bit too small and too far away for you to come over. Were you at the Hershey show back in September too? I like this show because of it being so compact. Unlike Hershey (which is still nice) this one doesn't overwhelm you. Just enough. To tell the truth I wasn't at the excel display very long. My son (3 months) was starting to get fussy so we had to do the browse through and then get over to the food court to feed him. Well maybe you saw me. I would of been there around the 1 - 1:30pm range on Saturday. I would of been the young guy (31) pushing the stroller with my wife carrying our son to keep him from crying. Then again I think there were quite a few guys fitting that description there. Never mind. Well maybe next yr. I'm still a few yrs off from another purchase. I want to wait till my son can enjoy sleeping in the bunk and we would have use for all that space. So I'll be to quite a few more shows. Aaron

Yes.... I was at Hershey also. This is the first time I've worked the Chantilly show. It's a nice size show. I wish we would have been in the same building as the other high end pieces. I LOVE competition.

Bryan, pleasure to meet you at the VA show. You will be pleased to know that Bubby sold the display toy hauler and we gained two new members to the Mid Atlantic Excel Club.

Yes, Bubby was VERY excited and we already have another one for him that he will have at the Hampton, VA show.

What a great guy, with a great family.... And he's going to be a great Excel dealer.

Bryan

My wife and I saw the Wild Cargo at the show on Sunday and decided to buy it on Monday. Bubby is great to work with and we are in the process of pulling a deal together for the RV and a tow vehicle. Our first significant outing looks like it will be Hatteras. BTW, we have a Honda Goldwing to park in the garage--can't wait!

Chris and Helen

Welcome to the forum. We are members of the Excel Club of the Mid-Atlantic. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend the Hatteras outing. Hope to meet you in the fall.

Paul
