My water heater is consistently heating ok, but going out on reset, is there a replacement part that needs to be looked at?

Hey Milk,
Need more info.....what model Atwood do you have? GXT16? Is the reset issue coming when on gas or electric? After resetting does it work regularly for a while? The more info you can give....the better we can help! rockin'

thank you for replying Rockin, I took it apart, it was the thermostat on the electric element ( Atwood Part # 91470 ), I know it lowers the temperature of the water heater. But that water was way to hot ( 160 to 180 ). Oh well got it fixed. Thanks again.

Yeah....I knew it was the thermostat all the time......I just wanted you to work for it!!!! Just kiddin'. Seems like the one with reset issues when on the electric side of things is almost always the thermo!
