Actually, we need a LOT of it!
Last Thursday, we experienced 50 - 70 mph winds broadside curb side. After the storm, we spend a couple of hours cleaning up the sand that made its way inside the house!
And now, we have blowing snow, about 30 mph winds, temp of 21, wind chill in the single digits. Check out the snow INSIDE the curb side living room window!
All of our windows, entry door, and lower portions of the slides have serious air leaks. Time for a trip to Home Depot to see how we can get this under control.

We got the same winds & previous snow in NW KS, last night got down to single digits & ran out of propane @ 6:30am just as they were pulling us into the service bay. Our basement doors were froze shut & our soft slide floors were frozen hard. Four 5 gal pails under rain gutter spouts were starting to drop away from the 6" of snow & ice on the roof. Truck got stuck on ice trying to hitch up, one front jack was frozen to ground ... It was a few tense seconds.
There are supposed to be 2 or 3 breaks in the weatherstripping under the door do the furnace can have makeup air to not create negative pressure inside the coach. Our RT doesn't have many slide air leaks, just one small one behind the big slide at the back of coach between wall & carpeting that I asked the to caulk from the outside to keep the ants on check a little more.

We are sitting at Arbor RV Park in the North Valley. We got some of the wind, a dusting of snow and needless to say, the cold!

As a temp fix, maybe you could use some clear plastic and clear packing tape on the outside to keep the wind and snow out. This will work if you are in place for awhile and until you can get the striping form the OEM or some place else.
From looking at the pics, did the storm blow the weather strip molding out of the window channel?
Hope this helps.

Glenn, you may want to try that stick on plastic shrink window stuff,,but try it on the outside. Sticks on and shrink with a hair drier. just might get you trought the winter.

Yep, pretty much all of the windows have a draft. Realize, however, that the wind was blowing REALLY HARD directly on the curb side windows. Under normal conditions, it's not noticeable. We thought about the plastic "shrink wrap" for the windows, but too hard to install on the inside. Hadn't thought about the outside, but I've used that stuff before and don't like cleaning all the remaining adhesive off after removing the plastic. I'm still gonna go with the weather stripping idea; just need to work out the details of which type to install in the various location. I'll post the results! Thanks for the ideas!

Well, I was hoping for a more permanent solution, like some stick-on weather stripping that I could just leave in place all year round, but the alternative wasn't so bad. I picked up some 1/2" foam backer rod at Home Depot. A 20' roll set me back less than 4 bucks, and I only used a little over half of the roll. Heck, I might be able to reuse the stuff for a couple of seasons!
I cut the backer rod to length and used a rigid spatula to shove it into the gap between the two window pieces. Took me about 15 minutes to do all of the windows.
The door leak was easy. The striker plate just needed adjusting. Not sure what I'm going to do about the slides yet. I was thinking about adjusting the nuts at the end of the rams to fine tune the seal at the bottom, but haven't gotten around to that yet. I'm too lazy to pull in the slides right now! We will likely be moving before the end of the month, so I check 'em out then.
