Thanks for the information. My VIN reflects the original Goodyear tires and different wheels. I got the Michelins & the rims shown in the picture as part of the deal when I bought the TKE.

Hello most Excels came with 16" tires but when you ordered the unit with disk brakes they had to send them out with 17.5 tires do to clearance problems with the rims & the disk brakes. I am happy with my 17.5 tires but costly to replace I know i had to replace my front 2 after I flatted them from over tight brake controller.

33TKE,

You done-good on getting those tires and wheels!!!!

Those are the Alcoa 17.5 wheels installed on '08 and newer models. Bruce (Bruce and Jenna) has part numbers and all the details as he has done recent anal research and has a fresh set on his rig.

DG.....careful.....there are some Excels running around with the factory Dexter disk brakes and 16" aluminum wheels!!! You are right....after discovering that there was a clearance issue between the rim and the steel brake line......they went to the 17.5" Alcoa wheel. I like this wheel like we have as it is real easy wheel to wash. No spokes to get into between. rockin'

How would one contact "Bruce (Bruce and Jenna) (who) has part numbers and all the details"? I would sure like to get a copy of the data that they collected.
