Wheels Off the Ground
Since we have auto level I have never carried or needed leveling blocks for the wheels. We are in a spot for a few days that is sloped so much the road side wheels are hanging in the air. Can that cause any harm or do I need to get some blocks for the wheels to rest on?

It's not advised by the coach builder, the manufacturer of the jacks and just for safety reasons to have the wheel off the ground via the jacks. Find a hardware store and go through their scrap bin or a trailer supply and buy some stacking blocks

I don't think it's a problem, but I wouldn't leave it that way for a extended period of time. I don't do it on my rig cause of the flex in the frame and doors and things in the rig don't close right. I always get my rig close to level side to side and tweak it with jacks to level up. That's just me. Been doing it that way for years, so why change now?!!! Ha. Others just mash the button and call it good... it's your choice.

Thanks Tom and LJowdy. It bothered me enough that I went to a Wal-Mart and bought some blocks. We are good now.

With our '02 DSDP I left the front wheels off the ground for months at a time.
BUT:
Newmar said it was OK
Spartan said it was OK
HWH said it was OK
Reyco Granning said it was OK
Koni said it was OK
But I never left the rear wheels off the ground.

I'm still looking for a manufacture that says not to lift the wheels.
The rear brake argument doesn't hold water. If the pads are going to slide, so would the small contact point of the tires.
All the ones, so far, say not to crawl under or change tires while off the ground. That is usually printed on your control panel.
I recall one brand saying always leave 1 ( one ) wheel on the ground.

I'm with Tom. If site is visually unlevel I use blocks to get as close as possible to level. Then I use the jacks to tweak the rig to level. In my case I do it because of my DW. If the bath door won't stay in position or the chap stick rolls off the counter top, I hear about it.

Such a difference in what I was told.

I'm with Tom on this issue. Perhaps in part I don't have an auto level system and the front landing gears operate as one. I have developed a pretty good eye how many leveling blocks I need to get under the low side to a close level. I have a level on the pin box. If that's not enough the rear jacks will gain me some adjustment. It works for me and DW.

No, but I wonder if they put it in writing saying that it's OK? I've read so many different threads on this site where the same company/s have said "yes" to someone and "no" to another. Makes you wonder if they know any more than we do? LOL
