We are at Sylvan Park COE campground in Kansas. We were on our way to Smith Center for April 6th but that has changed. This is a very nice campground just below the Wilson Lake dam with water & 50 amp. Great winter rate for Senior Pass $5/night until May 1st. The sites are large pull thru with plenty of space between sites.

No, we heard right away Smith Center was closed, Ralph notified me. We usually stop at Smith Center on the way home to Wisconsin after being in the southwest all winter, so we were going this way anyway.

Victors in Bryce

We are getting a late start this year but will be volunteering in Bryce Canyon with the victor unit starting in mid-May. Looking forward to getting away from home base with the early onset of humidity and mosquitos.
If you are out that way look us up.

The Didymop, Geronimo, Jakekar and family are spending the summer at Branson Lakeside RV Park in Missouri. If you're in the neighborhood stop by. We're only working 2 days a week so leave a note if we're gone.

We are at Bear Creek Park COE on Benbrook Lake southwest of Ft.Worth with our local camping group, the North Texas Camping Association. The park is green and beautiful. Huge, old live oak trees abound. Our site is in a tree cocoon. We expect about 29 families to attend the campout. We camp together about once a month.

We're back at a great seashore spot, Assateague Island SP in Maryland. This wonderful park has some outstanding sites like ours just steps from a grade A dog friendly beach that's not crowded this time of the year.

The wild horses make this a really special place. The same band wanders the area around the campground and a few of them stopped by this morning. Don't leave food out here, our dog's left over breakfast bowl made one horse happy. They don't do it often but on a hot day like today horses like humans head over to the beach.
