Back in the Good Ole USA at Delta Junction, AK for a couple of nights. Will make a day trip to F'banks to see if we can repair a brand new 17 1/2" G114 tire which sustained damage to the sidewall. Goodyear says this is a possibility.

Inquiring minds, eh? I'll take this to a new thread as this is 1) and 2) likely to generate some discussion.

We made it to "The Ranch" just south of Artesia, NM. It's too easy to drive a long haul in the truck w/o getting tired. We were going to take 3 days for this move but found ourselves just moving down the road listening to the old time story channel of XM Radio. Before we knew it,we were in Ft Stockton, TX without being tired. So 2 more hours and we're here safe and sound. It's a short drive to Moriarty, NM tomorrow.

It's hard to believe that we've been out of NM for a full year. It's been a great year, for sure. Lots of great memories and friends

Not with the stock market misbehaving. We just need some things checked out before we go into Albuquerque.

Have a safe journey to God's country (except the gawd-awful wind!) And give the folks a hug from us. Don't look to close.....funny things happen when you get "under their spell" at RV Sales!!!! Let me know if you get a fresh one, before you sign the papers.....I'll split the "bird dog" fee with ya!!! I'm just that kinda guy!!!! rockin'

Made it to SC today from Denver. Looks like we got out of Denver just in time since POTUS was enroute and I'm sure was landing at Buckley AFB where we were staying. I'm sure that was a zoo today.

The trip to SC was uneventful except for the crazy cross winds. Glad we made it and now can get some work done on the WC before we head to TX.

We are now at Sierra Vista RV park. Don't go looking for it in any campground book because you won't find it. Our really good friend Joy let's us keep her company at her place. We park next to her house and keep each other laughing. We love it here.

We pulled into Winstar Casino RV Park this afternoon. It's on the border of TX and OK. Really nice RV park! Will check out the casino tomorrow .

We just spent 4 days in San Antonio visiting my family. Tonight we bedding down near Crosby, just outside of Houston. Tomorrow we head to Baton Rouge and will rest a night there. We will start heading North very soon towards RI.

We are just outside Wytheville, VA and will head to WV tomorrow for our next stopping point. So far so good except for our awning issue, but as soon as we get to RI I will see about getting that fixed. We are averaging about 9.1 mpgs so far on the trip :-/...guess it could be worse . Ms Traci and Tater Tot are rockin' along!

And by the way, every time we stop, whether for lunch or a night's stay, we always get lots of compliments and curious folks about our Excel and GMC!
