What is the width of the Excels? I'm assuming they are all the same width no matter if it's the RT, Classic, or Limited. Surprisingly, the Specs don't mention this one little item. I'm thinking it's probably 96", but don't know for sure.

RVCG lists it at 96 inches. Funny, I just checked my 2005 and 2006 fliers and width is not listed. Also, when we picked ours up, and dropped off our old 5th wheel, I didn't have to adjust my mirrors and our old 5th wheel was 96"

Thanks for the confirmation D&J. I was pretty sure Excel didn't make a widebody, but since it's not listed anywhere on the Specification sheet, I wanted to be sure.

Somebody really needs to sit down with the person who designs the Excel brochures and website because there is a lot of information lacking, width just being one of them. One of the BIGGEST failings of their website (which I've mentioned here before) is their total lack of a Dealer Locator.

Say, are you the same Linda who owned a LazyDaze and posted on their Yahoo discussion group?

Ain't it a small RV world?

I actually measured one before I bought, 96 inches. Of course, it is wider with the slides out . I belive that I remember the slides on the RKE are bed - 28", living - 42", and parlor - 32". But that was a few months ago.

Hi Linda,

We owned a 26.5 RB for a year, up to a few months ago, when we sold it to a nice family. We bought it to try out camping, considering FT. We liked, and now we're proceeding along with our truck and future 33RSE.

You helped me with some LD stuff, as I recall, since we were newbies to the coach and RV camping in general. Maybe even told us about the not so obvious light switch one uses from the overhead bed.

Be seein' you down the road in our latest similar rigs. :wave
