We just ran an experiment with the Wingman by Winegard on my coach, with out I got 33 stations and with 39 stations. I guess the white attenna is the best for high def TV, go ahead and run out and look! No Excel has been using the white for quite awhile. Here is a .

Hopefully this can stay on Topic!

Geez Tom, no Oak Poop today.

Convinced me to buy one today at the service center.

I just read reviews thru the CW website. Some happy with this addition. Some say they see no difference.

Which doesn't matter to me, since we have no TV anyway. I only believe what I see on the Internet.

Actually, I don't remember seeing or reading that thread. I am sure I am not the first or last one who will repeat a thread on here. I will be doing some traveling the next few days as was going to report the out come with the Wingman, but since it's old news I'll just forget about reporting...

HPD..I hope to read your results of what you personally find out about the Wingman. I have never heard of it until now. I am sure others will be interested to know also...

Well, I'm glad the video was posted! I need some training hours to complete my 80-hrs-of-training-every-two-years requirement. I took an hour credit (least amount I could select) and categorized it as retirement training. David

The bottom line on the wingman is this: If you have a signal, and you understand how it works, it will make it stronger.

If you have no signal.. with the Wingman you MIGHT, and I stress MIGHT, see a signal.. Or not.

If you do not understand it.. Well.. If you don't understand it can actually make thigns worse.. However this is YOUR FAULT, not the wingman's.

WHat you need to understand is the need to properly AIM the beast.. also the need to properly supply power to the Antenna. (If you put the digital converter in the ANT lead (to the roof) you will NOT be happy with the results)

Converter goes between power supply.. Which most folks mis-identify as the amplifier, and the television.

In three different locations I get at least six more stations with the Wingman, so for $35 and easy to install I am happy with it.

Just installed our Wingman tonight and we are thrilled with the results. We are in Jersey City...just outside of NYC and can get 10 more stations than we could without it. Considering that the new ones are major networks that we couldn't get before (FOX, CBS) it is wonderful to get major network programming. Since neither of us speak Spanish, our viewing choices, before installing the Wingman, were limited. We're pleased !

I took a walk around our park (407 sites) today and saw quite a few wingmans installed on the rigs. More than I thought there'd be.

I put one on a couple of weeks ago and I'm sure it depends where you are how much difference you'll see, but where I was, I went from 3 to 18 stations. I was remote from a city. It was well worth the money.
