Winslow IKE34

I am considering buying a 2013 Winslow IKE34 and had a few questions.

Is the slide out strong enough to switch the couch location with the chairs? If it can hold the weight slid out, would I have to switch the chairs and couch back in order to operate the slide?

Also, has anyone ever put a treadmill in a fifth wheel? I will be full timing soon because of my job overseeing the construction of wind turbines and will miss my treadmill. I was thinking of having it where the couch goes in the floor plan so I could watch tv while running. Would the floor hold up to the stress of a 300lb treadmill and a 180lb man running on it? Would the trailer shake like an earthquake?

Thanks

I don't think there would be any problem with switching the couch with the chairs. You should also be able to leave them in place when the slide is brought in.

As for the treadmill, you could put a nice piece of laminate flooring down on top your carpet to set the treadmill on and that would spread out the extra weight when having the treadmill with you. Bryan could give you a "for sure answer"

You will have some shaking while using the treadmill. You can put some extra stabilizers on to help lessen that. My wife says she can fell me walk in our WC and I'm 300 lbs. of BS. I thought I walked lightly.

I have a 2013 Excel Winslow 34 IKE.

Personally, I would rather have 2 recliners in the slide and put the treadmill where the couch is normally.

The couch is not nearly as comfortable as the recliners.

We replaced the recliners that came with the trailer with La-Z-Boy Pinnacle recliners. We like the seat depth better with the La-Z-Boys.

The trailer will shake if running on a treadmill. Should not hurt anything.

Your biggest issue might be how to get the sofa out of the rig without the use of a saw I did a sofa swap on my RKO and had to remove a picture window. Not a huge deal - just a time consumer.

There are temporary braces available out there to place under sliders to limit bouncing.
