29th International Rally...Who is Going?

OK...I am pretty excited that we signed up for this year's International Rally. We have never been to any rally before and this should be a great one to start with.

This year's is from July 14 - 19 in Escanaba, MI.

29th International Rally - July 14 - 19, 2014 - Newmar Kountry Klub

We are planning on leaving out of Champaign, IL to Charlotte, MI for our annual service and then straight north over the Mackinaw Bridge and then around. We should depart Champaign around June 7th, spend around 3 days at Spartan and then meander through the MI LP to arrive at the rally 2 days in advance.

After that we will head west to Rapid City, SD then Billings MT followed by a south trek back to Winter Ranch in Alamo, TX.

We are pretty excited about it all as a first grand tour of the US in our first year of FT.

Hi Sky_Boss,
Congrats on attending your first NKK event. This is the first time the event will be held at this location. It should be a great time for everyone. At this time, I will not be attending this rally. However, things may change.

Don sounds like a great trip, Mackanaw Bridge on my bucket list. Our plans or heading East this year winding up at IRV2 National Rally, Myrtle Beach, SC. Hopefully they'll have the snow cleaned up by then! For now eyes set on GC!

I am really looking forward to our GC. It will be great to see you again. The Newmar rally was not in our original plans for this year but it wasn't so far off that we couldn't adapt or plans to get there. Besides, the MI UP should be nice and reasonably cool in July. See you at Catherine's Landing!

We are having an RVM get together at Catherine's Landing in April. We call any meetings of RVMs a "Curiosity" but this larger meeting of over a dozen RVMs has been called a Grand Curiosity. Hence...GC.

We are just a whacky group of folks that talk whacky things and celebrate the fact that it isn't the destination...it is the journey.

Don, that the best explanation yet of what our group is all about. Just reading that makes me feel better about myself!
