Hey Gary, do we have to go thru the show to get there or is there a more direct route? It sounds like a really long walk for someone with worn out knees.

Hi okmunky,
You are correct. It is a "hike". This is a problem I have not been able to solve. The show does not allow exceptions or suggestions from participating ententes (vendors, manufacturers, suppliers, etc). They have their plan/rules and operate to that play book. After the social, one then needs to get back to their coach or car which is usually parked on the other side of the fair grounds. I will have my car and golf car available, I hesitate to make a firm commitment to those needing transport as it can quickly become overwhelming and cause disappointment.

Gary, would it help if I volunteered to drive the golf cart? I could start about 3:15 or so.

Hi okmunky,
Thank you for the offer to drive members to the social site. Your offer is a possibility that I will consider. Depending on the events being held in the tent, the weather and a few logistics items to handle, I may take you up on the offer. Unfortunately, I will not be able to close on these items until I arrive, on site, January 15. If it is okay with you, let us keep this option open. As soon as I understand the details on 1/15, I will post here if we will move forward with this.

Hi Everyone,
Do you need a spot, for your coach, at the Tampa RV Super Show? There has been a cancellation. If you want to go, call the NKK office at 877-639-5582.
Tell Linda you are going as my buddy (if you belong to the NKK you don't need to go as my buddy). The cost is $190. My NKK number is 17178L.
The NKK has their own parking area and tent to hold special events.
Arrival is 1/15 (show starts on 1/16) We get parked before the crowds arrive!
Depart on 1/20
30 AMP electric
no water
no sewer
Arrive with a full water tank and empty holding tanks. This is a buddy special event. You do not need to own a Newmar product to attend as my buddy. Please let me know if you make these arrangements.

Hey, you have a beautiful unit. I just bought a 2002 model 3778. Have you had any problems with your fuel pump? I just put about $ 1000 into general maintenance and the RV just died on the road. Some of the forums mentioned that this tends to happen at about 40,000 miles. My unit had 41,500 when I bought it. I am coming down for the Tampa Show and staying at the LazyDays Rv camp ground about 3 miles from the Show. I'm bringing my 90 year old father for his 1st trip in any RV, so we are excited. I live in Atlanta, so it will be a good trip to put some miles on the RV. Eric Schrader

Hi Eric,
I have an 04 3778 with 20K miles and no fuel pump issues so far. Have not heard this is a problem around 40K miles.....did your mechanic tell you this?
We live in the Atlanta area too and will also be at the Tampa show. Were staying on the fairgrounds with the Newmar group.

Hello Eric. We have 36,818 miles and so far so good with the fuel pump. Had the fuel filter replaced a few months ago mainly because I didn't know what the previous owner did. Bought our MA at 32,000 miles. Hope this is not an issue at 40,000 miles. We have spent over $4,000 since February when we bought it.
Replaced: both AC shrouds, two jack solenoids, 6 Michelin tires, washer pump, two refrigerator handles, jack springs (not installed yet), changed the tranmission oil, etc. It's part of RV ownership ;-) Hope to see you at the show. Paul
