My trusty traveling campanion (Zoey the Crocker Spaniel) and I will be leaving the cold, wet, grey and dreary Seattle/Tacoma area around the 14th of January (depending on the Siskiyou weather forecasts) to attend the infamous "Gathering in the Desert"

. We plan to arrive at the "Spot" the afternoon of the 18th with Nissan truck in tow loaded with a couple of rows of dry firewood, cocktail fixins and maybe a few bottles of PNW wine, smoked Salmon and other fixins for the inevitable afternoon social hours

, and who knows what else might get thrown in. Hope to see a good turn-out this year, looking forward to seeing other Newmar folks, and we hope the weather co-operates, Zoey and I have had enough bad weather already. Assuming we will be in the same general area as last year, will look for any other early arrivers.
