An iRV2 social will be held:
* Thursday January 16 at 4 to 5:30 PM
* The place is the Newmar Kountry Klub Special Event Tent
* Music, snacks and door prizes will be provided
* Those attending should bring their own chair and beverage (please no alcohol)

Directions:
1. Go to the Newmar Coach display.
2. The North Midway aisle borders the display.
3. Go West on North Midway and exit the show (not the fair grounds, just the show).
4. Continue straight past many general admittance coaches.
5. At the road, go left to the ticket gate for horse shows.
6. Go through the gate and turn right.
7. You are now in the NKK Special event parking area.
8. Look for the tent. It is large, you can't miss it!
8. Go to the end of the aisle, the tent will be in front of you.

As always thanks for the info -DW does not want a 3-4 day trip Boondocking in Tampa but it would be fun

Question: what is the issue with alcohol and the activity described (social) ?

Hey Gary... We'll be there! We're camping at the show all weekend. Looking forward to meeting some IRV2 people in person.

Hi Renden,
The Newmar Kountry Klub (NKK) is owned by Newmar Corporation. The social is hosted by the NKK at the NKK rally tent. Newmar Corporation has a policy of no alcohol at any event. No exceptions and no excuses.

Sounds great. Hopefully, we can make it. We are staying just west of Orlando, so won't be too bad a drive this year.

We plan on attending the Tampa show. Currently have a Sprinter-based Class C. Wife retired recently and we'll be spending a LOT of time on the road, and need a larger unit.

We'll be looking at several units to move up to, including Newmars. Is social open to non-Newmar owners? I believe it would be a good opportunity to talk to some Newmar owners and ask their experience with their coaches, with Newmar, with Newmar dealers, etc.

The social is open to all who read about it and want to attend, socialize with iRV2 members and see how Newmar owners have a rally. You are welcome to attend.

being new to the Newmar family and to our motorhome, we plan to be at the show to check out all the great booths. Regardless, we hope to attend the event. It sounds like fun and the chance to meet other Newmar travelers.

Hi myshaggydog,
In addition to the IRV2 social, I host a Sea Turtle social the following day, same time and place. The Sea Turtles are a chapter of the NKK that I belong to. If you get a chance, attend both socials. This will provide a glimpse of Newmar Kountry Klub (NKK) rallies and how we enjoy our coaches.

Our February rally is very near your Homosassa location.

Thanks for the invite. Sounds like a great time and would love to attend both. We can then find out how to join the KK. The Feb. rally also sounds like something we would like to do, especially since it will be close to where we will be staying. Hope to see you there and thanks.

We are in Port St Lucie. Are the Sea Turtles this area? We will be staying at the rally on site.

Hi Lindaellen,
Yes the Sea Turtles are all along the east coach of Florida. They are also along the central and western central part of Florida. I am in Wellington (just west of West Palm Beach). We are near each other. There is another member in Vero Beach.
