Today it was 14 degrees in Jackson Ms and now it is 39 we have a heat wave. One more night stop then Tampa oh yea did I mention that DW is driving. Click image for larger version

If you feel 39 is a heat wave, wait until you get to Tampa. It's great the show is in the middle of January. Everyone needs an excuse to come to Florida in January. Where will you be staying?

Hi mickeyheart2,
The admission ticket you buy is a 2 day ticket. Don't know your schedule, just wanted to make sure you knew.

Unfortunately, due to work, I will not make it to Tampa until Friday night. I will be staying at the Red Roof Inn across from the fairgrounds.

I would love to meet up with some of you, pm me for my phone number and we can meet.

Frank

Hi all,

We are planning to go to the show; we live in the Tampa area, so it's easy.

I have a question. The local paper indicates that seniors get a dollar off on Wednesday. The buck is not a big deal, but the question is about Wednesday: will the show actually be open and if full swing on that day?

The reason I ask is that we have commitments in the evenings of the other show dates. We would like to be able to get the show and see everything without having to leave early. We'll use the second half of the ticket later, but it would be nice to have a full day.

Any thoughts or info?

Tom

Hi TLGPE,
Yes, the show will be fully in gear and welcoming attendees. For me, Wednesday is the best day to attend. Of all the show days, Wednesday has the lightest attendance. Plan to arrive early to avoid the traffic on Route 301. When entering the show there is a booklet available to attendees. In the center of the booklet is a map. The map tells where the manufacturer displays are and where the after market buildings are located. Consider having a sit down few minutes to plan the day and the route that will be taken.

I agree with Gary, Wednesday is by far the best day to attend due to the lightest crowds.

It gets more crowded each day.

The weekend is almost impossible as all the locals come out and it can be so difficult to move in the vendors building and the RVs are full of people.

We will bring our rig up on Wed. and park it, check out the show for a while but then leave. Hubby still works we will camp Friday and Sat night. Can't wait. We're going to make up our mind which 5th wheel we are buying after seeing them all together in once place *S*

If we do the show Wed. and Thurs we can all get together at the camping part of the show. Plus we can all cry about our aches and pains from walking too much LOL

First time I've gone on a Wed. It was packed today. I didn't expect it to be this busy.

We look forward to meeting Newmar owners. DH and I are close to placing an order on our first coach DSDP 4369. We still have questions that we hope can be answered by seasoned owners.

Thanks for the invite!

See you Friday!
