Those are really good pictures Gary. Nice looking motorhome. What is that sticking out starboard rear at the top?

Hi akadeadeye,
Thanks for appreciating the coach. For an 05, I think it is in excellent condition. The white antenna is the business end of my 3 WATT cell phone (voice only) repeater. The pickup antenna is fastened to the front dash and is hard wired to the booster which is hard wired to the white antenna. The MaxAir vent in front of the antenna is for a fake vent. There is no vent. The white antenna has been ripped off by low hanging trees. It's $200 for a new antenna. The MaxAir vent cover protects the antenna.

A little to the left (toward the middle of the coach) is a black antenna. This is the 3 WATT booster for my Internet connection via Verizon. There is a WIFI router in the coach hard wired to the antenna.

Thanks Gary,

That helps. That's where I will mount mine.

I wonder why they didnt make them "reverse stick" so that they would attach to the inside of the windshield, since that location appears to be where they would like them attached. Of course one would have to attach them to the windshield then and could not attach to other areas of the body; I guess that if the reason.

It is a good idea to have numbers on the back as well as the front so any one following can see the numbers.

Thanks again for the pics.

Ron

Hi Dirk,
Yep, I have been brought into the 21st Century dragged, kicking and screaming. The short story is the Gkids require it. I think they spend more time with their parents, when they are with us than when they are at their own homes.

Hi Romeo,
Another reason for not mounting a member's number on the inside of the windshield is that it would need to be mounted quite low to miss the heavily tinted part of the windshield. Mounting my numbers, where they are now but on the inside of the windshield would mean nobody will be able to read them. They would be behind the sun screen tinting.

I put my numbers on front and back because when at the International Rally, sometimes (depending on coach direction), I put a sun screen over the windshield. When I do this the numbers can no longer be read.

We are the type of people that don't put stickers on our car or RV for any reason. I solved the numbers on the windshield problem by going to an office supply and purchased a clear plexiglass standup plackard holder. When traveling to an event, we just place it in the driver's side corner on the dash/windshield with our numbers mounted on a black insert to the plexiglass holder.
