My 2008 Astoria (Pacific Edition) came with a single rear B/W Camera system. Currently, either my camera, or monitor is not working, and will be repaired under warranty. I'm hoping I can pay the difference and get a three camera system. Does anyone know if Astoria's were wired for a 3 camera system? How could I tell if the wiring is present? Where would it be in the wall? I'm trying to get all the information I can prior to seeing the a dealer. Thanks

Tom, I had a three camera system put in my 08' Astoria PE last fall before I took delivery of it from the dealer. The unit is "not" pre-wired from Damon, however the addition of the front cameras is quite simple since all the wiring takes place in the nose piece. All of the wires will be accessible from under the hood in the front. Your timing may be perfect, I am pulling my system out and replacing with a color system that is included with a complete navigation system I just purchased. I would love to offer mine for sale to you if you have interest. It is a Voyager system B/W with a tilting and audio rear camera. It works perfect but is not compatible with my new system. It is only 8 months old and I would ship with all cables that you need. Let me know if you have an interest.

After seeing a digital color camera system at a FMCA Rally in Pamona, I replaced the B&W back-up camera in my Outlaw. I now have 6 digital color cameras. The rear tilts up and down and pans left & right, side cameras are mounted inside the bases of my mirrors, two baby nose cameras eliminate the blind spots in front and on the corners, a camera was installed above the dash as a rear view mirror, and the old B&W is now being used in the garage area allowing me to watch my harley and other gear that is strapped down.
Since I do not have a co-pilot or kids to be ground guides and gofers, these cameras are awesome replacements. Rod of Total Vision did an excellent install, asked my input for positions & lenses, and permitted me to reside in my coach on his premises during the install. I believe Rod has the best cameras and is the most knowledgeable in the business. http://www.totalvisionproducts.com/
