I have a garden hose fitting to rinse the black tank
after it has been emptied. Worked fine for two years, but now
will not. Seems as though there might be a back flow valve(check valve) that may be stuck. Anyone had this happen or have info that can
help locate the check valve, if in fact it has one.
Thanks

Someone had this problem here just a few months ago. Do a search and see if you can find it. If memory is right, I think they found gunk plugging the nozzle. Fill the tank with water and take it for a drive. Dump your tank and try the rinse line again. Good luck and let us know what you find.

my tuscany had the black tank vacuum breaker in the cabin under the bathroom sink......BAD DUMB STUPID came to mind when it failed and and shot water all lover the inside of the coach

so i moved it to the wet bay behind the big black panel.
now if it fails OPEN I see it right away

I would suspect your cheapo valve is stuck or partially blocked.....

Sorry, I meant to say fill the tank with water and crushed ice before taking it for a drive.

My 2010 4078 did same and problem solved with 40lbs of air pressure to free up valve. Seems hard water from the desert south west builds up scale.

No problem yet but what do you all think would be good preventive maintenance measures?

Since post above I have had black tank plugged up. Had cleaned out in Lake Havasu City and discovered paper towels coming out of tank that had turned into paper mache. My coach was on dealer lot for 7 months before I purchased. They took it to many shows and it appears did not take good care of tank. I never put paper towels in it. When buying new, make sure tanks were taken care of by dealer.
