Help... any suggestions on replacements for the sleeper sofa that came with the coach. The worst design I have ever seen. A royal pain in the keester to set up, talk about cheap, cut corners design.

There are some issues on the coach but i can fix those myself and do it right which Damon couldn't seem to master.

Any suggestions for a replacement would be apprecriated.

We removed the sleeper sofa & bought two eoro recliners with ottomans at Rooms To Go. We use the seat belts to secure them when driving.

Sounds good but I also need the sleeping spaces.

Jimmy, We have a 2008 Astoria. The Sofa bed is not the best. We are looking at a flexsteel as a replacement. In our old Montana 5er we replaced the sofa bed with a flexsteel sofabed and is was comfortable. We selected the fabric covering and it was perfect ... but expensive (~$1K in 2001). You may want to check out the flexsteel web site. Flexsteel Furniture: Sofa Sleepers

True, that is the one thing we lost was sleeping space. Have only needed it for one weekend since we removed the sofa bed in Feb. Then my daughter just slept on the floor. But this would not be good for long term.

We went all the way to Elkhart, In and thought we'd find a sofa to replace the one we hated. one dealer had Flexsteel, but the pricing was really high. There were two so- called discount stores still open. They had a variety of sofas and sofa beds. none was the size we wanted. but, they had some great prices (and they'll ship to your home). So, we made it simple, we traded our Rexhall and got a Damon Tuscany. Smart move.... well we hated the pull out sofa bed even worsein the Tuscany than the one in the old coach. While at CW in Florida they had what they call a jack-knife sofa bed ( in fabric or leatherette). they removed the old on and installed the new one for their usual nominal fee ($79.00). We like the change out very much and would recomend it. Not my favorite store to shop at.
