I'm interested if anyone is familiar with any problems, issues, or even good aspects regarding the 2002 Damon Daybreak. I'm scheduled to look at one after the holidays: 37', 25,000+ miles, one 14' slide, Workhorse chassis. Private seller, asking price of $29,500.

I have a list of questions I want to ask and things I know need to be checked out (tire age, generator hours) but I'm sure I must be missing something. I'm searching for my first Class A, only familiar with pulling a trailer, so any suggestions are welcome. At this point, I'm thinking that if I'm still interested after I first see it then I should have a mechanic check it out. Or should I look specifically for an rv technician? Or both?

Many thanks!

Pam

I have a 2001 Damon Daybreak, almost 32', and I love it, but the first thing to check is the tires. I have 57,000 miles on mine and I have put on about 24,000 in the last 3 years. I am the second owner. Is it on the P30 chassis? Mine is, and it runs great. We don't tow.

Thank you! I'm not sure whether or not it's a P30 but that's going on my questions list.

Have not had any problems, but did put new tires on it.

Check your serial number and download the workhorse manual. A match of the two will tell you what chassis you have.
