My rig is on a Frieghtliner chassis with C-7 and the airfilter is located on the DS accessed through the last compartment. A quick peek under your coach should comfirm this.

Good luck.

Call Freightliner with your VIN Number. They can look up your build and provide all info you are looking for. ed

ok i climbed under the coach and traced the intake screen/access and found this 2 foot long cylinder and 8 to 12 inches in diameter. didn't think it would be that big.
its on the driver side just behind the rear wheel and reasonable access to work on. i can see it may not be as easy as that. rmove inlet and outlet maybe a contorsionist act.
so now i know.
does anyone have problems getting a replacement?

Freightliner usually has them or your local parts house may get one for you.

Good luck replacing it. It is big. There is also an access plate in the last compartment on the drivers side you can take off.

The air filter has a couple of screws in it that hold it on. If they put those screws in the top side you have to take the access panel off to get to it.

Pain in the rump and ours is always getting plugged, especially in dusty conditions...
