I have a 2008 Damon Astoria. I purchased it last year. It was only used one season. Then stored.
I'm trying to find if there are/were any recalls on the chassis front or back end of it.

Call Thor and ask them. Also call Freightliner and
see if the chassis has any service notices.
If it has been sitting for 9 years, you have lots of issues
to figure out. I would suggest you find your nearest
Thomas Built Bus dealer. They will know the chassis better
than anyone else.

in my Good Sam Club membership profile I changed my 2007 Damon Astoria to 2008 Astoria and Good Sam returned three safety recalls for the 2008 model (see attached PDF file).

Hopefully the previous owner left a large "bag" containing the Astoria owners manual plus lots of owners manuals for each item in your motorhome. On page 2 or 3 of the Astoria manual is an owner's registration form you can prepare and mail to Thor Motor Coach as soon as possible. My wife and I purchased a 2007 Damon Astoria two years ago (upgraded from a 30 foot travel trailer). We have had several very enjoyable, most trouble free long weekend outings. I hope you are enjoying your Astoria.
