i was looking at a new 2010 model and it finally hit me that the ends of the slides are not painted to match the coach, but instead plain white

OMG that is going to look weird up against the nice paint schemes

That's pretty common, until you get to the very high end coaches. Some have had them painted to match though. Can't tell you what that may have cost them. (I frequent the TRVN site and number of Phaeton owners have had the slide ends painted).

All my slide ends are painted to match the motorhome's paint I would never thought that some would be painted white. Now I am going to start looking at other motorhomes. It does not take much effort and paint to do the slide ends, this is really cost cutting.

all of mine are painted the main color and blend in quite well.

My 2008 Damon Astoria are all painted the base body color. It looks good from the front or back. I wonder if it was a goof or cost cutting. Bad in either case.

Sure would not want that on our coach. With the dark color tones would look like crap. Cannot imagine.

i agree
our paint job is laid out in such a way to be deceptive about how big we really are,
and having a big white spot would ruin the effect

I just saw a couple 2010 Tuscany's and they were painted ends. Maybe something on that one coach?

Our slide ends are painted to match the coach sides. They do not however have the lines painted. In April that will change as our slide ends will be painted to have the lines matching as well. I really like that look.
