I have a 2013 Thor Challenger model 37DT. I'm pretty happy with it so far. I ran into a guy with a 2012 last season and his had a large slide on the passenger side with three tall windows that looked really great. I liked the front and rear cap.

We have a 2011 Challenger 3710 and really enjoy the motor home. No really significant issues thus far with over 30,000 miles.

Have the 2008 371. The floor plan is the best we've ever seen. JM2¢...

New Challengers are very nice rigs for the money. I was impressed with the 2012 I saw at an RV show. Challenger appear to have taken over for Intruder, which was Damon's top level gas unit. Older Challengers (pre 08) were mid range, or basically loaded up Daybreaks, which were their entry models. They too had a lot of value, and nice floorplans, but I wasn't impressed with how they were built outside. I've seen a lot of them, and it seems they all suffered from some form of delamination and/or at the very least, sidewall pucker in areas. My .2cents.

I' can't remember what the last year for Intruder was (08??), but they're worth looking at too.

I have a 2007 Challenger 355 and love it. Bought it "new" in 2010 and have put 38,500 miles on it with no significant issues. I agree that the newer units have been up-tiered compared with mine but I have no complaints.

As others have commented, a pretty good value as RVs go.
