Advice from 10 year plus Damon Class A owners
Hi all,
I have a 2005 Damon Daybreak 3270f with 39,000 on the clock, it's in decent condition with some decals cracks but not bad.
I had my local heavy truck shop just service the engine, lube the chassis and replace the rear sway bushings recently.
Last year I had a front end alignment performed and a road master steering stabilizer fitted. The 2 front tires are 3 years old and have 8 month old ones on the duals and spare as they were 10 years old (also fitted a tpms). I just had the roof and vents checked for damage and sealing performed
I did purchase an extended warranty which is good to November 2020 which covers electrical and mechncinal systems. They so far have covered the step controller, a hot water check valve and storage and entry door locks under warranty.
The chassis battery is new and coach batteries are 3 years old (found the receipt the owner left in the coach).
It's is stored under an rv port which has shelter on 3 sides, about 2 foot of the roof at the back is exposed.
I am hoping to afford to replace the coach once the warranty is up.
I plan to keep the coach for at least another 3 years.
Just wondering what issues I need to watch out for and in general how should the coach hold up?
Thanks,
Stephen

Also, at what age would I be better of trading it for a newer coach?

I have a 1999 Damon Intruder. Change the oil every year or 4000 miles and you should be good. Watch roof sealants, touch up as needed. Best time to trade up is when the desire for something better becomes to great. For now just enjoy.

Thanks for replying Charlie,
We only travel about 3000-4000 miles a year and plan to have it in for a chassis/engine service once a year.
I do need to service the generator in July.
We have really enjoyed it, just this week we booked 35 nights in Michigan state parks and private campgrounds for this year.
Cheers,

I do not plan to full time in the coach, it will be used about 40-50 nights a year.

Nice, I bet it has not been done in an age. I will do it next time I am at the storage.

Thanks Redapple,
The only real issue I have is one of the storage lock is a bit temperamental.
