Antenna Jack Question
My Damon has this type exterior sound system:
Everything works as it should (stereo, 110AC plug, 12VDC plug and breaker), but I have always wondered about the antenna jack...
Does anyone know if Damon typically used the jack to add an external antenna for the radio, a jack for an outside TV, is it just unused...or?
My ToDo list includes accessing the rear of the panel to check, and was wondering if anyone uses the jack already(?).
Thanks in advance

My 09 is slightly different, but it had a standard radio jack in the rear radio. No antenna mine you, just the jack with a coiled up spare piece if 16 GS wire plugged into it.
I ran a standard antenna cable from the radio to the roof, installed it using an upside down PVC electrical box and added a replacement rubber flexible mast (trees anyone?). Never had any more problems with it. It's listed as one of the mods on the blog link in the signature line.
Best all around with yours!

Thanks Dan.
With all the mods and improvements you made to the Hula Hut, I was wondering what you were thinking when you talked about consignment. I would only let mine go for a FRED like yours or one of those AllStar ME's.
I agree it's probably for an external radio antenna for when you're out in the boonies, to pull in a far away station...but, I haven't checked and like your set-up, I would have to build an antenna for that application.
That will be an easy mod.
Later,

Since I wanted to label all the cables behind the BOMB, I did a continuity check of all the cables and labeled them as I went along. I
Never found a match for the one by the radio. I have no idea where it goes.

Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt that I was actually thinking! Not that I was, but thanks!
