Damon seems like a pretty well made coach but I must say they have a few issues that leave me scratching my head in disbelief.

One is the front sun visors. I't a good 4 feet from the top of the dash to the top of the windshield but the sun visors are only 8 or 9 inches high. They don't adjust other than fold up and down and are pretty much worthless when you're driving into the sun. I'm Guessing there is a good 30" between the dash and bottom of the visor when it's in the down position and for me (I'm 5'10") most of the time the visor is no where close to blocking the sun in my line-of-sight. Is it me or do these things irritate others out there? I'm now looking for some sort of pull down visor that can be well anchored and adjustable for varying heights. I'm half tempted to extend the upper left and right side cabinets down another 12" so they're even with the bottom of the TV and maybe then the visors will be at a height where they can work. Whom ever did the design for the front of the coach never drove one west after 3 pm. or they would have thought things differently at least that's my take on the matter.

Yesterday we changed campgrounds and during the drive I notice the upper TV compartment was bouncing and squeaking pretty bad. Last night I pulled the TV out of the housing and found both "L" brackets that secure the cabinet housing to the roof were completely broken in half. They broke at the screw holes closest to the 90 Deg. bend. (The weakest point) Looks like I'm going to the hardware store today. Just thought I'd mention this because I'd hate to see one of these come down on anyone. I'm thinking my tire vibration problem is causing so much shaking in the coach that the brackets are fracturing. Looks like the tires are going to have 1st priority when we return home.

I hope the roof stays on .......!

I agree that the sun visors are pretty much useless. I have the tinted extension but it still isn't low enough. I thought about the powered visors but they are too much money for the 5% of the time I have to drive into the sun. This will sound silly but my solution was to pull my ball cap down so that the bill does what it's supposed to do.

There's an invention for you. Come up with a manual sun visor that you could pull down while driving that stays still and you'll sell a million of them.

So far my cabinet has been good but when I had it torn apart last winter I checked all the srews. Looking forward to the pictures when you can send them..

Like Chandler, I use a hat but I bought a straw wide brim and it stays on the dash or somewhere in reach.
I thought about spending the money for the automatic shades but I really do not get caught driving into the sun very often. If we ever use the RV more, I guess I would have them put in.
