Are we missing something here?

I saw this post in the classifieds section of this site.

2006 Damon Astoria 3773P Pacific Edition - RV & Motorhome Classifieds

We are first time buyers and due to budget constraints were looking at something like a 2008 Bounder 34G gas, but then I saw this ad and thought "that's a lot of coach for 65k".

So my questions are...What am I missing? Is this too good of a deal to be true? I looked at the NADA site, but can't find this model listed.

This is the price range we are looking for, and it's just us and the dogs right now only about 1 week every month and a half for now. Any advice, comments, and suggestions since this is our first buy are appreciated. A king bed is definitely a plus since I'm 6' 6" tall.

thanks in advance

That is a real nice coach for $65K I would call him & see if that price is correct.

i would double check a few items. fresh water tank 150 is 50 more than most of the astorias

29k miles is low low low...if he is for real, take it to get a full inspection and make an offer
that many or few miles
and age of coach, its an 06 so built in 05 that makes the belts and hoses 7 years old, sure the tires are not factory by now but i would ask.
hrs on the genny
more detailed pictures are a must as well.

good price i would think
i purchased mom and dad 04 bounder in late 2010 for 75k and it was in excellent shape, but needed tires.

powerboatr, here is the link to the Bounder we are looking at...

Bounder 2008 34G Workhorse™

something about that Astoria just seems too good to be true. I do like the color on the Bounder better...being a Cowboys fan and living in Dallas and all!

thanks again for your service on this day, too...Army here...24 yrs and counting

big difference in a dp and a gas chassis
i wont get into the debate ride and such. I find to each is own.
find a coach that works for what YOU like and can be comfy with, then you will do fine.
a sharp eye helps. in dallas, there are tons of good places to see quality used rv's
mcclains did us right on both coaches, plus superb after the sale service and taking care of us, in and out of warranty

Yeah, I sent several messages and never received a response, so I'm thinking scam...oh well, plenty of other fish in the sea out there for us to find. Thanks for the responses.
