Hi,
I've had this coach 1-1/2 years and I've broken the receptical 3 times now. After the second time I removed the mud-flap thinking it was hitting the plug as it is right below it. Well, it broke again without the flap being there. I guess it drug the ground as I was leaving MCD's parking lot. What a drag.....Anyone out there have a fix for this? Right now its attached to the bottom of the Tow receiver. I've thought about putting it up on the rear fiberglass cap But don't relish the thought of drilling a 2" hole up there. Also its not really that flat so the plug may not fit good an flush. I've attached a pix.

Thanks,
Ron

Ron, Can't you mount it above the receiver?

Ron, My plug isn't rigid like yours, but is just the plug end hooked to wires and nylon ties fastening it to the receiver. I wouldn't make a hole in the fiberglass, but would change the rigid plug bracket to something you could move around a little without being smashed. Do you have room enough over the top of receiver to just bring the wires over to a new plug? John H...
