When testing the detector, am I right that it will cycle through the beeps...on mine it is 1 beep (service) than 4 beeps (get out now! LOL). This is normal correct? I have an Atwood by Kidde detector.

Also I changed the batteries in it and now it won't work at all. I know the batteries are in correctly so is the thing done and I need to buy a new one?

Thanks for your help!
