Hello,

I have a 2009 Damon Daybreak 3575 on the Workhorse chassis with the 8.1 Litre Vortec and Allison transmission. How does one know which W chassis this is built on ? I have found three different W chassis the W20, W22 and W24. Do you just check the weight listed on the card by the drivers seat?

Thanks for your help

Steve

I would think its on the W22. Look at the sticker beside the drivers seat and look for GVWR. That will tell you what the rating is. There will be another listing that says GCWR. If you subtract the GVWR from the GCWR this is how much this unit is rated to pull such as a toad.

Thanks Snowfitter, I am going to look today and see what the sticker says. I think you are right, that it is the W22 based on what I found on the internet regarding the GVWR and the GCVR.
