Just an FYI we had a problem with our new Tuscany. We were in Hot Springs Ark. called Damon on a Friday and got no return call. Took it upon myself to find the nearest Damon Dealer in Little Rock. Called him to schedule a time to have this problem worked on. His first Question "Did you buy it hear" answer was NO.
Next statement from the Little Rock dealer was couldn't get to it for several weeks because he was too busy putting a new roof on his house.
I notified Damon of this issue in hopes that they would put some pressure on the dealers. We are full timers and can't wait for weeks to have something looked at or repaired.
I think when ever this happens to any of us Damon Owners we need to make a strong point to Damon.

Hi Dave! I know from experience that Damon isn't the only manufacturer that sadly lacks in customer service. You would think that with sales falling into the crapper, that they would kow-tow to every customer to make sure they were happy and thus spread the word to everyone what a great comapny they are. It would lead to increased market share.

Good luck!

Chandler

Not to defend the dealer, but Friday was a holiday...

Did you try yesterday? If not try again on Monday, if they area reputable dealer, they will do their best to help, especially since you are full timers, and you rely on this as your home.

Good Luck,
Bill

I am sorry to hear that. I had been told by one of our local dealers, that he wouldn't work on an RV he had not sold, and I told him I won't bother asking him then, nor would I ever buy one from him either. He didn't like that, but then he started it...

good luck

Here is what we found. Damon told us that the dealers were "Not Obligate" to take our coach in
except on thier time line. Well that means that when they have all their local customers satisfied. Not a good answer. Damon factory rep was helpful in finding another dealer in another town we were about to visit. We have not contacted him to see if this repair can be handled in a "timely" manner. I was told by another coach owner that service depends on what coach you bought. He has some problems and called the factory they put him right in.
So I guess we will see how this company in KY works out. If not I will post about them. As far as I am concerned this posting is the only way to help all of us with problems.

Actually this doesn't help you at all Cayman, but just wanted to mention we were at the Damon Factory in Elkhardt in JUne and they couldn't have been nicer.
Had 2 things we needed repaired that we scheduled visit for, but then before we went added 3 more items. They were not big repairs, but when we arrived, April, who does the scheduling, went over everything with us in detail. And when everything was completed, went through the same exercise to make sure everything was done to our approval.
A very long way for us to travel to get a repair, NY to IND, but the dealerships around us are few and far between.
They were very accommodating.
I'm sure they were closed for the holiday. Too bad.
I feel alot of the dealerships have poor attitudes, and did mention it to Damon Corp. after I purchased mine.
Good Luck Dave, with the repair.
