Thanks for the heads up, if I do more I'll buy some.

well i called the same graphix place and since mine is out of warranty they said they would sell me some for half price. all the red stripes on mine are in terrible condition, so i decided to take them off. will decide wether or not to put new ones on later. anyway i used a putty knife and had some success but wasnt easy so i tried a few things in the shop to see if they would help loosen the stripes. believe it or not, brake fluid worked pretty good. used rubber gloves and only applied to the stripe i was working on. put some on then let it set a minute, made it much easier to get stripe off. then reapplied brake fluid to glue and scraped it off. finished up with brake parts cleaner on a rag. no heat gun. looks much better without the messd up red stripes.

If you are passing thru AZ, just park in the sun for a couple hrs, graphics will peal right off. I removed and put on new front, back and both sides in two mornings. I did not get the stripes perfectly straight tho.

I called and they are sending me new decals free.
Same with mine, and the red is the only one that is doing it. I'm not sure I even want to put them back on.

decals

yes it is the red ones on mine also . they shrink and crack up . i have the decals but ,i do not think i will replace them . i am thinking of putting a sign on my rv that says this is how damon handles their customers satisfaction department . they agreed to pay for them if we signed a contract that we would not come back on them for any other issue . we have had to many issues to sign away our rights to anything for damon. as you can tell we are not at all satisfied on how we were treated for the decals .this happened when we had had rv for 13 months so of course out of warranty .

I have one more big one that I'll replace, but that's it. The stripes on the front that go to the sides, I will just remove.

Our motorhome is 2007 damon daybreak . It was 2 months out of warranty when they started cracking so am working with damon to see what they will pay .
Sounds like mine. Graphics Unlimited sent me new ones too. I am not sure I want to replace them or just eliminate them.

The plastic putty knifes always melt when using heat guns. I have used the phenolic scrapers for years from Avery Tools in Fort Worth, TX.

Avery Tools LP - PHENOLIC SCRAPERS

Phenolic scrapers are perfect for safely removing sealants, adhesives, stickers, labels, grime and more. They are extremely durable and will easily slice through sealants, but will not damage the underlying structure or surface
