Hello all, need your opinions.

Looking at a 2002 Escaper with 55,000 miles on it. On a superficial inspection it looks like it is in great shape. I have not inspected the date codes on the tires yet or gone through the individual systems.

The 2002 brochure states that the 350 Cummins on a Spartan chasis was the standard and a 330 Cummins on the Freightliner was an option.

Where will I find what motor is actually in the vehicle?

Any other feedback on this model would be appreciated.

There is a Data Plate on the engine RH RR side.

I just purchased a 2000 Escaper with a Cummins engine and am getting familiar with it.
Good Luck

I think I'd just look at the steering wheel. If it's a Spartan brand, you'll have your answer.

The Spartan/Cummins has the radiator on the left side whereas I believe you'll find the Freightliner mounts theirs at the rear.
