looking for instruction manual for the in dash multi-media stereo that was installed in the 2008 Essence from the factory. Thor unable to help. the only thing that they could tell me is that it is a Mobil Optics unit.

i think thor is WRONG
it should be the or maybe they did a model year change
but it should be a jensen unit model number

I have a 2008 Tuscany. The Essence is the same as a Tuscany that is loaded. Try calling Steve at Total Value RV. He's my go to guy on anything and everything for my coach. I've had him look up everything from air mattresses to marker lights. Guy knows his Damons for sure. His number is 574-262-4232.

If yours is like mine, it is completely unbranded. You have no idea who
or what made it. I did find out that it is a unit made in China, sold under
several different brands. I had some success finding a manual by
following the lead in this link:

NESA Vision NAV-6510 (nav6510) In-dash Double DIN 6.5" TFT-LCD

I even sent Nesa my flash drive and they updated the maps for
me without charge, but I did not tell them it was the unbranded
cheapo that Mobile Optics, who is a re-seller, supplied
to Thor/Damon for a while, but they stopped since the unit has
a lot of performance issues.
