I e-mailed Damon customer service asking about next year's models. Within a week I had flyers for Tuscany and Challenger (the 2 models I asked about.)

Tuscany - 3 new paint schemes for '08: "Merlot Sand" "Ebony Suede" and "Sunset Shadow" all very bold! According to the flyer, Tuscany is changing from a 350 Cat to a 360 Cummins w/1050 lb ft of torque!! The end cap has been changed also. The generator has gone from 7.5 to 8.0 KW. A double DIN stereo w/i-Pod connector is also new, I believe. The flyer had only 3 floorplans: 4055, 4072, and 4076. I don't know if this means the others have been discontinued?!

Challenger- A new floorplan for '08: the 378- a king bed with an island kitchen. 6 floorplans offered. (I still like the 377 best!) Also is the new Challenger "Platinum" - 2 new full body paint schemes ("Amber Ice" & "Cinnabar Pearl") and upgrades including Corian counters, upgraded amenities like woodwork and headboard on bed, "Family Personal Radios" whatever that means, and a group of features that are optional on the basic models.

I've seen a couple of the '08 Challenger online- the new paint is awesome!

Thought you all might be interested.

You won't find ANY 2008 info on the website, only the outdated 2007 info.

That stinks. A multi million dollar company and they have an outdated website...at least they should link to sneak peaks of the new models. I would love to see the island kitchen!

I spoke to the Marketing dept a week ago and they said they had the fliers ready, but the website would be another couple months. I think they are trying not to surpass the stock that most dealers have. If everyone checks the website and sees 2008 info, they will think the 07s are yesterdays news. Probably a smart tactic for some.

I found several dealers online with photos of the new models! Just google '2008 Damon (whatever)' and you'll find them. I saw both Challenger Platinum paint schemes, and at least 2 Tuscany Paint jobs! "Sunset Shadow" is AWESOME! I also found a photo of the redesigned end cap of the Tuscany. It's changed quite a bit. I think I liked the 2007 better...

I saved the pics I found if anyone really wants to see, email me...

P.S. I was at a dealer over the weekend, and he told me the change in engine for the Tuscany was due to new emission standards for 2008.
