Damon Intruder

I have recently bought a 2005 Damon Intruder 391 w24 chassis. I am having trouble finding an outside cable/satellite connection.I am thinking there should be one. We are contemplating adding a portable dish. If there are any Damon owners out there? Maybe you can point me in the right direction. It has one side slide in the living room and two slides in the rear bedroom

On mine the cable box is located on the drivers side last compartment. This is the sat dish we use http://www.winegard.com/carryout/index.php. I just run the cable and power cord through the window by the TV. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I must be blind . It is exactly where you said. As to portable satellite dishes I too was looking at the Winegard Carryout but it looks like the Dish Network Tailgater also will do the job for less money.

If your intruder is like my intruder, Rear compartment, Driver's side. This is the compartment where the converter is located as well.. There is a box there with a modular phone jack and an antenna connection.

NOTE: Damon used very low grade RG-59, Very cheapest bidder, This cable is not really suitable for satellite use and the about 50 feet of it between said box and the video switch in my coach is more like 200 feet equivlent of quality RG-6.

Thus I ran RG-6 down the "A" pillar to under the dash, through the fire wall and up to the bracket that holds the bell crank and master cylinder for the brakes, There I put a dual ground block (i ran two cables) and that's where I hook up. Only hole I had to drill was for the screws that hold the ground block to the bracket,
