damon outlaw Intermittently starting

2007 Damon Outlaw Ford v10 starts and then doesn't. Have replaced starter and engine battery. There are two solenoids to the right of engine compartment. The lower solenoid gets very hot even when engine is not running, so we replaced it also. Still stays hot. Replaced the engine battery last week and it started fine. Four days later, will not start and generator would not start. Ten minutes later, engine started fine and generator fired right up. What switch could be giving this intermittent starting and power transfer issue?

That lower solenoid is the emergency start and also powers up when engine is running to charge coach batteries. when the engine is shut off in a few minutes that solenoid should drop out to Isolate the coach batteries from the start battery if this is not happening it could be killing your start battery and when you restart it is pulling from coach battery. when you restarted did you push the emergency start switch? your problem may not be the solenoid it could be the Battery control center board
