Damon Outlaw/Loading Trike

Hi all,
New to this forum...Will be picking up our new Outlaw mid October and am wondering about the incline of the ramp door in relation to our trike. We have a Voyager trike kit on it so there is a bar under the bike that can sometimes hit on extreme bumps in the road. We watched a guy with a Harley trike load his into a 5th wheel toyhauler and he just drove one wheel across a timber with one wheel to lift the bike a little and then he cleared ok. He had a regular trike frame but still was low to need a little help. Anyone have experience with this or know how steep the pitch is to get a trike in and out ?We're really excited to pick up our new rig so our trike will have a garage of her own

Congrads! You may have to put some wood under the gate to decrease the angle. I had to do that with my bike trailer. Not a big deal but a PIA. I used a 2 x 12 to start with another piece of 2 x 6 on top of that to go under the gate.

Another trick is to use just the front levelers to jack up the front of the RV.

I just loaded my buddy's new HD Trike this past weekend to check the fit. . .we just compensated by lowering the front jacks and retracting the rear jacks. No problems (except the darn thing won't fit in a 3612 because of the Murphy Bed) at all with the angles.

Thanks all for your responses ! All good info...anxious to pick the rig up and see how loading the trike works out. I'm sure I'll be back with more questions once I get it.
