Damon/ Workhorse/P-32 Electrical

When my '05 Daybreak was new, I had numerous electrical problems. All of them were in the chassis controls. IE They were controlled from the drivers seat but I don't know if it was a Workhorse problem or Damon. Possibly a combination of both. However the warranty is over now , so the problems are mine. I don't want to go into all the past problems now but I'd like to just to show how screwie this thing is wired and would be interested to know if all Damon Workhorse's have electrical issues.
Any way, my instument panel ,tail & clearance lights don't work 80% of the time. Does'nt seem like a terribly difficult thing to fix but It's been in an auto repair shop for a week and they still haven't found the problem.
Has any one else with a Damon/ P-32 had electrical problems and in particular the tail/ clearance light issue. On mine, the LED instrument panel lights also go out with the tail lights. The headlights, brake lights, turn signals and 4 way flashers work fine.
I am very close to the point of putting a new alternative power source in for the inoperative lights, even if I have to put a new separate switch in for them, but the shop doesn't want to do this and thinks he needs to find the problem. However, I have no idea how much this is going to cost me for them to find what is probably a simple fix if and when they can find it.
I have told them I think it is a bad harness connection, bad ground, or loose connection but I'm not the professional. If I knew of similar issue and what the fix was, I could tell them a specific area to look.
I know that most Daybreaks are on a Ford chassis and they are wired completely different so I believe this is more of a WH/ Damon combination problem.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience with your similar chassis.

Sorry about the long post but this has been very frustrating and even worse when the pros can't find the problem either in a week.
