Ok folks i give up
for over a year now i have tried to figure out how to get the satellite tv audio to play through the coach radio and speakers
my fiver it was easy, select aux and BAM we had sound
i get great sound playing the dvd, and can select aux 1 on the dash unit but i still get no sound, other than through the tv
on the winegaurd switching unit, the rca cables come and go from the dash unit and out to the tv for aduio and video
what am i missing

I just installed a new tv in my Mh, and ran the sound through the car stereo. Rather than try to just run the sat through, I connected the 3.5 mm earphone jack on the tv to the aux input on the stereo, works great, however, you will need to use the stereo for everything not just the SAT.
Good Luck
Bill

i ended up running a new rca cable from the satellite receiver rca audio output
down to the aux 1 input on the back of the radio
BAM it worked like a champ
tough part was getting the new wire down through the dash cave and to the radio

Powerboater you must be built like a pretzel or at least able to bend like one. With all the wiring projects you have done under and through your coach you must have a chiropractor for a neighbor. I have tried to get under that dash and follow wires from one place to another. I had to replace the camera selector input to the dash monitor, that was easy but finding the right wire to check in line fuses was a real treat.
Glad someone is able to get around under these things, I have a real hard time with it.

nope i just found out how to take the dash apart and OPEN her up
the white trim things (upper and lower) on the passenger side dash panel is held on with a velcro patch about every 6 inches, GENTLY separate it from the big panel then unscrew the 2 dozen screws and unscrew the vents and loosen the hoses.
and WOW you have some room to explore.
the panel on the forward dash above the gauges is held on with velcro as well, gently pop it up and you have a great access point to the back of the gauges
