I am wondering If that action is normal? My rig is Damon challenger 1995 in great condition
It is shaking in a bad road only. Is there any way to fix it? I am sorry if I ask bad q but I am new RV.

Replacement of the shocks may improve the situation as well as weighing all four corners and adjusting tire pressures to tire manufactures specs for that weight.

My 96 Damon does the same thing. The fact is Damons are what you call entry level coaches they are built cheap. The dash boards are really the worst I have ever seen when it comes to quality New shocks wont do it. The best you can do is let air out of your tires to a safe level. Even that wont get rid of the shaken dash completely. Nicer roads would help. But the road situation in the U.S. is getting worse as the econmy gets worse. I see the day when the roads get so bad in this country that we may have to park our rig and call it quits. I believe that day isnt too far off. Just my 2 cents

Weighing all four corners usually allows you to safely decrease the pressure in all tires resulting in a ride that is not so harsh.

The dash shakes because of how it's mounted, too much is hanging there. Is the TV also located in the dash? If so replacing the TV with an LCD could help a lot, also adding support under the dash where it's just hanging there can also make it more solid.

Can you describe the "shaking" in more detail?

Does it bounce? Rattle?

When you drive does the windshield stay steady while the dashboard bounces?

Are you getting flexing and bouncing on the floor in front by the outside wall?

The '95 Challenger is a gas rig if I'm not mistaken. What kind of suspension do you have in front? Independent or I beam?

I believe that on your coach the dashboard is attached to the firewall. The firewall is part of the chassis frame and is solid mounted. The body however is not attached to the firewall and is only attached to the floor of the coach.
There should be metal supports going down the "A" pillar of the body (the vertical part at the left and right sides of the windshield) that are attached to the metal framework in the sidewalls both at the top of the side windows and extending down to the firewall. If these are missing or broken the body will bounce on the floor and the dashboard will bounce up and down independently. You can check by removing the three screws on the strip of plastic and looking inside.

Someone removed the "A" pillar supports from my coach and my dash bounces like crazy. I am now completing securing the firewall to the sidewall at the passenger side with angle iron in the footwell and have made a brace on the drivers side from the firewall mounts up to the underside of the floor/wall connection to help unify my coach.

I don't know if your coach has the same configuration or not but mine was driving me crazy. I don't know why the PO took out the supports???

I do know that while driving the windshield appeared to be smoothly floating along while the dashboard was doing the hula. The outboard ends of the floor would also be flexing up and down on rough roads.

Where as I can not speak for your Damon, on mine they installed very good (By that I mean FIRM) shocks.. These do transmit road vibration to the coach when I'm on a rough road.. And the dash is the most rattling thing in the house.

I was able to tone it down a bit by putting a "Fun noodle" (Cut to length and slit lenghtwise) over a bar under the dash. this cut way down no the rattle you can zip tie around the foam noodle if you wish, and by leaving a thin magazine in the "latch" area of the dash compartment to silence it.

IF you had rattle/vibration on a good road.. .Then I'd have a bunch of throw big bucks at it suggestions... But this job is in the dollar range.
